Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Asparagus is part of nature’s spring harvest, which is known for its alkalizing and detoxifying benefits. It’s high in fiber, folate and antioxidants.

Asparagus also happens to be delicious and incredibly versatile. And of course when wrapped in bacon, it takes it to a new level of flavor.

This recipe serves as an easy one-pan side dish or can serve as an appetizer at your next party.

Just about everything tastes better wrapped in bacon, and asparagus is no exception! Add these bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles to your dinner plate or your next appetizer spread.


  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 Tb ghee or coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 strips of bacon


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Drizzle trimmed asparagus with melted ghee and sprinkle with black pepper.
  3. Divide asparagus into even bundles (approx. 6 to 8 stems per bundle) and wrap each bundle with a slice of bacon.
  4. Place in oven and cook until asparagus is tender and bacon is crisp (approx. 22-25 minutes).
